Peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband John, son Roy, sister Violet, brothers Charlie, Michéal and Paddy Joe.
Valerie beloved mother of Virgina & Crystal, and loving sisster of Tommy (Jackdaw), Teresa, Pansey and Nan. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving daughters, brother, sisters, grandchildren Jim, Sherrie, Sarah, Thomas, Courtney, Jade, Sean & Jersey & Dallas, great-grandchildren Mason & Bailey, Dakotah, Skyler, Roman, A.J., Arabella Rose, Emerald, Elizajane and Paul, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Due to current Government and HSE restrictions on large gatherings Valerie funeral will be strictly private at all times to family only.
Funeral will leave McGowan`s funeral home, Ballina on Monday morning at 10.30am via Lord Edward St, to arrive at St. Patrick`s Church for funeral mass at 11.am with burial afterwards in Leigue Cemetery.
A memorial mass for the repose of the soul of Valerie will be held at a later date.
